The Lady Warriors win the Sunshine State Lacrosse League's 2010 Inaugural Season Girls HS Championship. On their home field, with family and friends biting their nails to the finish, the Wesley Chapel Lady Warriors Girls HS lacrosse team held on to a 5-4 victory over a tough FishHawk Fins team. Behind two early goals scored by Championship MVP Ashley Gross the Lady Warriors jumped to an early lead and never looked back. The FishHawk girls fought hard and brought the game within one at the half but the Warriors kept up the pressure and never lost the lead. Critical saves by goalie Arianna Diaz and single goals scored by Casey Tanner and Lyndsey Wall helped buffet Ashley Gross' hat-trick giving the Warriors the win. Congratulations to both teams for an outstanding, back and forth game.
